I tell moms in my baby sign language classes to sign “booger” to their little one before wiping their nose and show them the tissue afterwards – this has been an effective way to help my kids “see” why I’m wiping their nose! My boys would come to me as toddlers and tell me “BOOGIE” while signing it. Body functions are part of every day life – the gross and the more gross!
Yo wanna hear something gross. My husband was babysiiting my kids and my little girl 2 yrs old at the time, keep bringing him tea on her “little tea set” and she was also giving some to her brother. Both father and son were staring at a “monitor” while this was happening. They were both drinking the “tea” Michelle was nicely bringing for them. Until i got home to find out, she was using the water from the “toilet” !! Where were they thinking she was able to reach for water… hahaha
