It’s snowing at SeaWorld. And there are reindeer on the property. And Santa, and Christmas carols… as a mom who loves to celebrate Christmas, I’m thankful that Seaworld has created a Christmas wonderland for families like ours to enjoy. It’s not just a “winter holiday” celebration, it’s full on Christmas.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year to visit Seaworld with carols playing through the park, more than a million colorful lights that twinkle in the background and on trees and with smells of winter comfort foods wafting through the air. I highly recommend the hot chocolate with an extra dollop of thick, rich whip cream!
Seaworld’s Santa’s Village may be the most special in all of San Diego, complete with a reindeer petting zoo.
My kids could have stayed at Snow World for most of the day where there is a small hill that’s perfect for toddlers and young children to sled, but they enjoyed the animal shows just as much, especially Shamu’s Christmas Miracles set to holiday music, LED lights and fountains. We sat in the dreaded “soak zone” but this show does not include soaking. It was just beautiful, and we loved being up close for the first time.
The $86 (for 10 & older) Seaworld Fun Card is an amazing deal right now — pay for the day and get the rest of 2014 and all of 2015 for free. PLUS there is free parking through March of 2015 to those who buy a Fun Card before December 31st. I’m asking Santa for one myself AND I’ll be giving one of these babies away to a mom’s guide reader!
Stay tuned 🙂
