We’ve been going to Legoland for 8 years now – since our tween was a toddler – and we were back this week to check out the new Ninjago world and the Lego Movie a 4D Adventure.

If your kids enjoyed the Lego movie, don’t miss the newest adventures available in 4D. And starting next week you can also catch the 4D Nexo Nights The Book of Creativity. These movies are entertaining AND a great way to sit down and enjoy a break. 🙂
My boy . . . not too old to pose with mom in Ninjago World. My 10 1/2 -year-old girl is too cool for photos, but not for the new Ninjago “The Ride.”
We aggressively karate chopped our way through the ride, accumulating high scores and aching arms. (a new way to build arm muscles?).
There always seems to be something new to love about Legoland, but, funny enough, my kids love to go back to their original favorites. (even if they are getting a bit large for them . . . )
Speaking of large, I got kicked off of the Beetle Bounce, which happens to be MY favorite ride. Even Mal was too tall since you have to be under 55″ to enjoy the stomach-turning fun now. 🙁
The most fun I have at Legoland is watching my kids get creative in the Imagination Zone. It’s great to know that, in the midst of rides, shows and games, Lego-loving kids still want to spend hours in the build and test area.
Soon my Mom’s Guide partner, Chelsea, will take her 2-year-old son to Legoland for the first time. Oliver will be too small for many of the rides that are favorites of my kiddos, but there will still be tons for him to do. Legoland has developed a sweet list called “What to Do When You’re Two” to help guide families with little ones.
Enjoy these toddler adventures now. Before you know it your baby will be running past those “baby rides” while you’ll look at them remembering the precious moments you shared there.
