Does your child rush to the door each time the garbage truck pulls down the street?
Do you hear squeals of excitement when there’s a train, a fire truck or police car passing by?
If someone in your family flips over buses, trucks and sports cars then don’t miss East County’s first Touch-a-Truck event this weekend! You can find a list of participating vehicles here.
Maybe your son will get to sit in the back of a police car like mine did a few years ago.
Maybe your kiddos can pretend they’re going to school on a bus.
Or sit in loader and drive a military hummer.
Touch-a-Truck is a fun-filled event for the whole family with vehicles & equipment for the kids to touch, climb & experience. Trash trucks, loaders, cranes, trucks, vans and much more. Proceeds will fund educational programs geared toward the trucking, construction & industrial career paths for our youth.
The event will be held in Lakeside on Sunday, September 18th from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tickets are $15 per child and $5 per adult. For more information visit tatlakeside.com.
See you there!
