Have you ever been to a swap where you bring an item you no longer need and take an item that you do need? It’s an amazing way to stretch your family’s budget, and it’s coming soon! Mark your calendar for a great community event — the Skyline SWAP happening on Saturday, March 25th from 8am until Noon at East County’s Skyline Church.
recycle, reuse & reduce
support local charities and women’s ministries
At the Skyline Swap you’ll find just about anything except furniture. Typically ….
Clothing (Men’s, Women’s, Children’s – all sizes)
Accessories (Jewelry, Shoes, Purses, Belts, Hats, etc.)
Household Items (kitchen supplies, linen, tools, books/music/movies etc.)
Décor (Wall art, knickknacks, etc.)
Baby Gear (cribs, strollers, chairs, changing tables, bouncers, etc.)
How Does it Work?
Clean out your home & find items to swap
Drop off your items in advance OR bring them to the swap
Advance drop off earns you 5 extra items during the swap
Your items will be counted, and you can freely take the same number of items from the swap
If you come without items to swap, or you want more items than you donated, it’s only $1 per item
100% of money collected goes to Skyline’s women’s ministries
Items left over are donated to local charities
Skyline Swap is located at Skyline Church youth center, 11330 Campo Rd. in La Mesa.
There is a $1 donation to enter; 12 and under free & parking is free.
If you come without items to swap, or you want more items than you donated, everything costs just $1!
Also, the Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) Club will be selling baked goods as a fundraiser
Skyline Swaps are held three times a year (typically March, July, and November) so be sure to save your rummage knowing another swap is on its way! “Like” and “Follow” at facebook.com/skylineswap to be notified and feel free to contact Swap coordinator, Dawn Moody at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you may have.
DONATIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED SO PLEASE DROP OFF ITEMS
EVEN IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SWAP 🙂
We also gladly accept donated hangers!
