We got a sneak preview of this last night, and it truly was one of our best family night’s out ever. Greg and I got to introduce our kids to the arcade games we grew up with . . .
And the kids introduced us to some of their favorite games.
This is the first large-scale exhibition to take visitors behind the scenes of how video games are made as well as spotlighting the people who actually make them. From Nintendo’s iconic worlds featuring Mario and Link, to the obsession that is Minecraft, to the immersive experiences of Blizzard Entertainment, this is a landmark collection of the most popular video games on the planet, as well as independent games with a cult-like following.
No quarters needed! Regular admission applies, and includes Game Masters and all the Fleet’s interactive exhibits. Game Masters is also available for daytime fun, but we loved having a family night out, and I would imagine it’s always less crowded!
