Do you have a small, creative creature in your house? If so, your local Apple Store has a fun, educational and FREE summer camp that you will want to check out.
Kids ages 8 to 12 can expand their digital creativity through hands-on projects with experts at Apple. Campers choose one of three tracks, then spend 90 minutes a day for three days at a local Apple Store immersed in the subject of their choice.
My kids have learned how to make iMovies and how to program video games and the Apple Sphero robots.
They work collaboratively in groups and with the Apple instructors.
If you have a techy kid on your hands and a little free time this summer, this is the place they will want to be. The Carlsbad, Chula Vista, Fashion Valley and UTC Apple Stores will each host camps this summer.
But here’s the trick … you must sign up to receive the summer camp announcement. Once you receive the email notification, reply asap to secure your spot. As you can imagine, this free educational camp fills up quickly.
Visit the Apple website here to register for the email notification.
Your kids will thank you!
