The Moms Guide Gets EELectrified

Seaworld’s Electric Eel is not for everyone.

First of all, you need to love going very fast

forwards and backwards

twisting and turning

and even briefly hanging upside down from 150 feet in the air.

You also must be at least 54″ tall.

Fortunately, all of the kids in our group met the requirements and braved being the first in their class to try out San Diego’s fastest and tallest ride.

The thrill level of the Electric Eel is very high. It’s probably the scariest rollercoaster I’ve ever been on, and it kind of makes the Manta feel like a Disney Toon Town coaster. (But in a good way.)

If your kids are tall enough and brave enough, we highly recommend checking out the Electric Eel. As one of our kids suggested, “just think about unicorns” during the ride, and you’ll be alright. 😉
