Join City View Church at Civita for a FREE Easter Egg Hunt with a petting zoo, pony rides, inflatables, and egg hunts all for free! Plus a selection of delicious food trucks where you can purchase fun food and snacks. Located at the Corner of Via Alta and Civita Blvd in the grassy area next to the dog park.


Santee Lakes Eggstravaganza  

 Sunday, April 14th  from 9 a.m. until  3 p.m.  

Santee Lakes

Spring is in the air at Santee Lakes! Join this family friendly event that features continuous egg hunts all day (for ages 8 and younger), craft booths, inflatables, carnival rides, pony rides, face painting, food and more. Parking is $10 for your carload, and the event is free.

Springtime Egg Hunt at the Library 

Friday, April 19th from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. 

Cardiff-by-the-Sea Library

Decorate your own pair of bunny ears to wear during an egg hunt in the library and enjoy a book giveaway to celebrate Dia de los ninos. Please RSVP at the front desk, or call the library at 760 753 4027.

Easter Eggstravaganza at the Kroc Center

Saturday, April 20th 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. 

Kroc Center San Diego Athletic Fields

Featuring egg hunts, candy bags, prayer offerings, photos with the Easter bunny, prizes, games and more. Eggstravaganza is open to all San Diego communities with children ages infant to 11 years. The “hunt” will be divided into three different sections according to age. Prizes in the eggs will range from candy to small prizes.. The entrance fee is $1 per person. Kroc Center members can “skip the line” and get in free through the gymnasium with their membership cards.

San Carlos Spring Carnival

Saturday, April 20th from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

San Carlos Recreation Center

Free activities include egg hunts, air jumpers, The Little Fire Truck Company, pony rides, petting zoo, face painting, live music, and a VERY SPECIAL GUEST.


City of Oceanside Easter Egg Hunt

 Saturday, April 20th from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.  

Mance Buchanon Park

Held at Mance Buchanon Park, this annual egg hunt is free for children ages 3-11. Families are encouraged to come early. There will be lots of candy, prizes, a magic show and of course, a special guest appearance by the Easter Bunny.


Solana Beach Spring Festival & Egg Hunt 

Saturday, April 20th from 10:30 a.m. until Noon  

La Colonia Park

This free event at La Colonia Park is designed for children in the 3rd grade and younger. Come and enjoy the egg hunt, games and refreshments.


City of Carlsbad EGGstravaganza   

Saturday, April 20th from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. 

Poinsettia Park

Carlsbad’s largest egg hunt features the Egg Scramble activity where kids race to collect candy-filled eggs among several other fun activities, including face painting, crafts, soak the bunny, cookie decorating, fun zones, and more. This event also highlights the Carlsbad Parks & Recreation summer camps with demonstrations and activities that children can participate in. Wrist bands and activity cards are required for some of the activities and can be purchased presale or at the event.


Poway Egg Hunt  

Saturday, April 20th from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.  

Poway Community Park

Living Way Church hosts this year’s Easter Egg Hunt at Community Park. Create spring masterpieces with free arts and crafts; bounce and slide your way through the popular Fun Zone; take your picture with Benny and Bonnie Bunny; and then there’s everyone’s favorite – the Egg Hunt!


Torrey Hills Egg Hunt 

Saturday, April 20th from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. 

Torrey Hills Community Park

Enjoy games, music, face painting and jumpies for free at this community event. There’s even a special scavenger hunt for kids ages 10 and older. Don’t forget to bring your own basket.


Encinitas Spring Egg Hunt  

Saturday, April 20th from 10 a.m. until Noon  

Encinitas Community Park 

Pack a picnic and make a day of it hunting eggs and singing along with Hullabaloo Band at this special event in Encinitas Community Park.


Grossmont Center Easter Egg Hunt 

Saturday, April 20th from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Grossmont Center Mall in La Mesa

It’s an eggs-tra special free and fun Easter Egg Hunt at the mall! Grossmont Center even provides Easter bags for storing your eggs—just pick one up from Guest Services while supplies last. In between egg hunting, there are fun activities geared towards kids such as crafts, face painting, and balloon animals.
