MOVE, PLAY, GROW Grand Opening Fiesta 

Sunday, May 5th from 12 – 3 p.m.

Move, Play, Grow, 427 S. Cedros Avenue, Suite 101 in Solana Beach

This free event celebrates children and families with food, music, art and face painting. Dance to the tunes of Hullabaloo Band, enjoy crafts led by The New Children’s Museum and learn about how this new resource center might help you grow into the parent you dream of being. Firefighter Story Time

Monday, May 6th from 4 – 5 p.m.

Bonita-Sunnyside Library, 4375 Bonita Road in Bonita

Family Story Time @ Waypoint Public

Tuesday, May 7th from 5 – 7 p.m.

Waypoint Public, 3794 30th Street in North Park

Parents, enjoy dinner and craft beer while your kiddos read with volunteers from Traveling Stories. You’ll get some adult time, and the kids will earn book bucks, which can be redeemed for books and prizes. Click here for more information.


Mother’s Day Flower Workshop

Thursday, May 9th from 6-8 p.m.

Little Italy Food Hall, 550 W. Date Street in Little Italy

Get ready for Mother’s Day with this free DIY floral arranging and card making event. Bring the kids and enjoy dinner and drinks while you get crafty!


Birthday Party at Waterfront Park

Friday, May 10th from 3 – 10 p.m.

Waterfront Park, 1600 Pacific Highway, downtown

San Diego’s amazing Waterfront Park is turning 5 and celebrating with a party for all ages. The free event will feature
inflatables, games and crafts, touch tables, lots of music, food trucks and a photo booth. Hullabaloo plays for the kiddos at 5 p.m. and adult-oriented bands perform into the evening. Click here for more information.

  1. I grew up with Mega Man X3 and Sunset riders. I’m trying to remember 2 games that my dad played. One of them was on this i think. It showed someone walking at night then the screen looks up at the stars and i think a dragon or some type of monster flying in the sky. The other game was on a different system but it look like a fighting game and i know it wasnt mortal kombat cause there was no blood lol. Anyway i barly remember it but one of the stages was on top of a montian and i think one of the characters was a human bird thing and they had difderent monsters So hopefully one of you guys can help me to find the games im looking for lol
