Halloween Baby Story Time

Thursday, October 24th from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. 

Mission Hills Library, 215 W. Washington St.

Introduce your baby to reading during this festive season with books, songs, rhythms, and finger plays designed especially for Halloween. Bring your baby in costume. Every baby will get a prize!

 

 

PNLU Fall Festival 

Saturday, October 26th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Point Loma Nazarene University in Point Loma

At this FREE community event, enjoy wagon rides, a pumpkin patch, music from local musicians and exhibit booths showcasing San Diego businesses, artisans, and nonprofit organizations. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. you sample food from local eateries at the Taste of Point Loma. Visit one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful College Campuses in the U.S. and experience a day of fun, fall-inspired activities for all ages – the young and the young at heart!

 

Halloween Family Day @ Balboa Park

Saturday, October 26th from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

It’s the region’s largest free Halloween Festival and Balboa Park’s Plaza de Panama and El Prado walkway will be overflowing with free hands-on activities for kids like a haunted lantern craft at the Japanese Friendship Garden booth, a rooftop pumpkin drop experiment in front of the San Diego Air & Space Museum and a “Thriller” flash mob dance in the Plaza de Panama that anyone can learn and participate in. Museums offer additional Halloween-themed activities inside their buildings, and there’s even a mini-carnival games for prizes.

 

Once Upon a Halloween Spooky Train Ride

Sunday, October 27th from 4:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Old Poway Park 

Celebrate Halloween in a distinctly different way by taking a ride into the past aboard the “Halloween Express,” Poway’s own Baldwin Steam Locomotive. Haunted house, scary stories, carnival games and more guarantee to thrill and chill!
