The must-see show to kick-off the holiday season, NATALE – Journey to the North Pole, is coming to San Diego for an inspiring, Big Top-style extravaganza that will bring family fun and good cheer to Southern California. The circus-style show and Christmas-themed village debuts at the South Promenade at Liberty Station for 23 performances, Nov. 14 through Jan. 6.
Created by Spain’s vaulted La Fiesta Escénica (LFE) and making its U.S. debut in partnership with La Fiesta Shows, NATALE features a nostalgic holiday experience with top acrobatic performers and dancing animatronic polar bears, as well as, an array of unique and inspiring surprises guaranteed to elevate San Diego’s holiday spirit. The show traces Natale, as she sets off on her Journey to the North Pole, on a quest to find the World’s Greatest Toy Store. Along the way, she encounters enchanted creatures that help her overcome the many challenges she faces crossing the polar cap. When Natale finally arrives, and is ready to choose her present, she discovers the true spirit of the season.
Adjacent to NATALE’s big top, La Fiesta Shows will convert the South Promenade into a “Holiday Village” Polar Experience that will include Train Rides, a Glacier-like Climbing Wall, a Bounce House, as well as sponsors and numerous vendors selling holiday treats, merchandise, and food.
With decades of experience touring several original productions, LFE’s performances feed on the creativity inspired by an emotional tribute to the origins of the circus (but without real animals) that captivates audiences of all ages. LFE’s shows merge circus image and technique into a poetic visual spectacle by talented artists selected from among the best in the world.

We love going to midnight mass and having noche buena (midnight snack) Filipino style! Our tradition is definitely an international cultural mix:)
Taking a picture in front it of Christmas tree at hit Del. Then getting hot chocolate and waking around the Del. Finish with a family dinner
My family’s favorite holiday tradition is cooking together, and setting up our tree. We spend the whole night before thanksgiving, and Christmas cooking all of our favorite cookies, cakes, and preparing the meals. We dance, and sing our favorite holiday songs and have a good time 🙂 I hope my kids always do it when they are grown, and have their own families!
Walking all the neighborhoods with Christmas lights!
Baking cookies listening to Christmas music all while putting the tree up 🙂
Starting a tradition with our little one to see the Christmas lights each and every year
We visit a different Santa each year.
Walking to see Christmas lights and Christmas stockings.
This looks so fun!! Our favorite thing to do every year is put the tree up the Saturday after thanksgiving and then camp out in front of it later that night. We also love walking around a neighborhood in Poway that goes all out with lights.
Our favorite holiday tradition is baking christmas sugar cookies and decorating them.
When I was a kid, my dad always let me put the starfish on top of the tree… yes it’s a real starfish. San Diego style. Now, it’s my favorite tradition to decorate the tree as a family with Christmas music and egg nog and lift my kids up to put the same starfish on our tree.
My mom hosts a cookie party every year. Everyone bakes 3 dozen cookies and we all exchange cookies and come home with 3 dozen different cookies. I look forward to it every year.
Our tradition each year is to bake some cookies listening Cristmas Music, make our village and go to see all San Diego neighborhood lights.
We love to try and see as many neighborhood lights around San Diego as possible and always go with hot coco!!!
Our favorite tradition is making Hot Chocolate and doing puzzles as a family.
