Fave 5 ~ Week of January 13

There is something about 2020 that just feels…good. I can’t quite pinpoint what it is, but all around it seems as if spirits are high, and hopes & dreams feel more attainable. And it sure doesn’t hurt that San Diego has near-perfect January weather, giving families the opportunity to get outside and hit those New Years goals with the ground running. With sun in the forecast each day this week, there is no excuse to sit behind a closed door. Why not pack a picnic and take a nature walk, bring the family down to the harbor for a parade, or even hop on a camel’s back?? As usual, there is plenty to do in San Diego’s Finest City this week, and here are 5 of our favorite picks this week! And if marching bands and spitting camels aren’t your thing, you can always head over to our local events calendar for a full list of family fun!

Bring the family down to Harbor Drive on the Embarcadero, and join in on the 40th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade. This is one of the largest celebrations of its kind in the United States.
