Head to San Elijo Lagoon Nature Center for some fun, nature-themed crafts and activities. Topics vary with the seasons so there is always something new to discover! This winter, explore birds of the lagoon, and in spring, we'll host activities on everything from pollinators to flowers, and more! The whole family will enjoy exploring Nature Center exhibits and loop trails. Tables and chairs on the upstairs observation deck make a great spot for a picnic lunch, too! This event is free; donations are accepted. All ages are welcome! Inclement weather may cancel this event. For more information, call the park at (760) 634-3026.

* Oasis Camel Dairy Open FarmOasis Camel Dairy Open Farm

Our monthly Open Farm Event features a live performing Bird and Animal Show, Camel Encounter w/treat feeding and petting, Camel Rides, Mini Sheep Town Petting and our unique gift shop filled with our own moisturizing camel milk skin care products, camel milk chocolate, camel fiber products and fun stuff for kids too. * Hullabaloo at HighlandsHullabaloo at Highlands

Hullabaloo’s foot-stomping and wing-flapping celebration of song has been entertaining families throughout Southern California for over 15+ years, winning seventeen national awards and landing on three national “Top 10 Best Children’s Music lists”. Now this popular band has launched a 2020 Del Mar Highlands Concert Series twice a month, every month! Starting at 10 a.m., families across San Diego County are invited for a FREE, fun sing-along, morning jam session with the kids group Hullabaloo at the Del Mar Highlands Town Center pop jet fountain (located in the heart of the center on the main floor). The two-man band will be performing their energetic hits with their cool collection of instant classics featuring folk, funk, and rock inspirations that bring a smile to kids and parents faces.

Kids! It’s the evening you’ve been waiting for! Join us at the Zoo for a wild night out with Dr. Zoolittle and some animal friends. Send your parents off to do their own thing while you hang out at the Zoo, meet some amazing animals, create cool Zoo-themed crafts, enjoy a snack, and much more! A snack, take-home crafts, and Zoo admission are included. Children should eat dinner before they arrive, bring a reusable water bottle, wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring a jacket for our outdoor activities. Please keep flashlights and special toys, which may get lost or damaged, at home.
